Saw this idea in Conde Nast Traveler 3/23 and thought with the development of hotels, inns and party houses Norwich, CT could become more of a destination with a “Peace and Love” promotion.

The article I read was about an actor and a entrepreneur who planned a honeymoon adventure that allowed them to give back. Of course theirs was an exotic African adventure but perhaps Norwich, CT could develop and promote an adventure to improve one or more of our villages or areas.

Perhaps help to develop some natural areas along the Thames River Tidal Estuary, or the Shetucket River or the Yantic River? Maybe help a small business develop a boat/rafting/float rental?

Maybe encourage one or more of the local bars to change their décor to something regional and fun?

To place local crafts for sale on the walls or tables? How about their selling farm to table snacks? Promote the whole package as a lifetime of memories.
