@Gerald Martin I love the idea of revitalizing Shipping Street, but crossing the railroad tracks with boats may be problematic. What about enlarging Howard T Brown Park by removing one of the lanes and narrowing Chelsea Harbor Drive to enlarge the park to accommodate a new bigger and better boat launch?

Move boat launch out of Howard T Brown Park and move to Shipping ST. The current launch has caused damage to my boat on a couple of outings. Dodging people walking behind and driving behind you while launching and recovering a boat is an accident waiting to happen. Boaters pay yearly registration and taxes on their trailers. Our fishery is under utilized due to location and quality of the current boat launch. Why does Norwich keep shooting itself in the foot? Montville now will have a new launch while Norwich once again misses this opportunity .
