Adding a permanent structure for several uses would be central to bringing new business opportunities/energy to the area. A permanent tent-like structure-
- Farmers Market
- Free Makers Space (Certain days)
- Use for concerts and the like
- Rentals
- Green bike rentals
- Create a Museum as on nod to our rich history as a city of factories/manufacturing- perfect for that area.
Take a look at Riverfront Recapture in Hartford it reminds me of this project a bit.
