Why are we collecting information about an old mill site?
The old Capeheart Mill site will be turned into a passive recreation park, a place where people
can enjoy nature in quiet and simple ways. Visitors may walk on trails, sit and relax,
watch birds and wildlife, have a picnic, or enjoy the outdoors with family and friends. The park
is not planned for sports fields or other active recreation areas. We want to hear from the
community about how the park should look and what features would make it a great place
to visit. Your ideas and comments will help us design a park that everyone can enjoy.
