What BIG ideas do you have for Norwich?

September 15, 2022 4:00 AM - April 3, 2023 4:00 AM

The Community Investment Fund 2030 is a multi-year initiative created by the State of Connecticut to support distressed municipalities by allocating $875 million over the course of 5 years.

What criteria should your contributions respect?

Your idea should focus on one of the two focus areas: capital improvements and infrastructure projects or small business support programs. The scope and scale can be as large as you can imagine. Think creatively about how the idea could work and include as many details as you can. Assess what could prevent your project from coming to life and consider ways around the obstacles. Your idea should contribute to the City of Norwich in an equitable and inclusive way focusing on how we can make our city the best place to live, work, and play.

Projects selected for grants will meet specific criteria listed here: CIF2030

The approved projects will also meet criteria of the Governor's Economic Plan.
